Knife Block Gallery
A wooden knife block will become a unique art piece for your countertop. Hidden, strong magnets allow you display your culinary knives safely and easily accessible. Each block is one-of-a-kind, and as such the grain pattern and coloration of the wood will vary from piece to piece.
We will custom make a knife block for you to your specifications including wood type and size. Time to commission will vary based on sourcing of wood for your project.
The photos below show our personal knife block which is a rare piece of black walnut from my wife’s parents crop farm. She remembers discing the field around that old black walnut tree as a child, being careful to avoid damaging the beloved and prolific tree. Each fall, her mom would harvest the nuts, prepare them for storing, and at Christmas would make her famous black walnut cake. She is flooded with warm, precious memories every day when reaching for a knife.
